Inversion: 起强调作用

 

II. Analyzing & summarizing

Task 2: Find 4 examples of inversion in the reading passage

否定副词no;not;hardly, little, seldom, never, no sooner…than, no more, not only, only 等开头的句子要部分倒装。

部分倒装:只把谓语的一部分(如助动词情态动词)等放到主语前,或把句子的强调部分提前。
