二、教学目标

1.语言知识

1)四会掌握单词:February, March, June, August, October, November, fifth, eighth, ninth, twelfth, twentieth, date 三会掌握)

短语:New Year, Chinese New Year, Children’s Day, Teachers’ Day

2)能灵活运用句型:When is Chinese New Year (…)?  It’s on …

               When is your birthday? It’s on …

What date is it today?  It’s …

2.语言技能

1)初步掌握一年12个月的单词,语音清楚,朗读流利;

2 通过学习,掌握年月日的正确表达方法。

3.学习策略

1)用构词法的规律来学习新单词,让学生更容易掌握新知识;

2)对所学知识能主动练习,并进行简单的归纳整理。

4.情感态度:能积极运用所学英语进行表达和交流。

三、教学过程

(一)Warming up

1. 听写上节课所学的单词;

2. Free talk

T: What day is it today (tomorrow)?   

P: It’s Tuesday.

P: What day is it today?

T: It’s Tuesday. Oh, today is Teachers’ Day.

(二)Presentation and Consolidation

1. 通过free talk 导入新课。

 T: Today is Teachers’ Day. When is Teachers’ Day?

 P: It is on September 10th.

2. 课件展示一些节日的图片,学习新单词和新句型。

T: Look at this picture. What festival is that?

P: It’s Children’s Day.

T: When is Children’s Day? What’s the date of Children’s Day?

  It’s on June 1st.

2Play a Game: 课件展示节日图片,让学生猜月份,说出相应的日期。

P: It’s March. Women’s Day is on March 8th.

3)分组运用以上句型进行对话练习。

3. 课件展示班上一位学生的生日日期

1T: Look what date is that?

   P: It’s … Oh, it’s my birthday.

   T: Your birthday is on…

   T: When is your birthday?

   P: It’s on… (学习相关序数词)

2Play a game : When is your birthday? 每组的开头同学问后面一个,开火车,

最快的组获胜。

3)分组进行对话练习。

   P1: When is your birthday?

   P2It’s on …. What about you?

   P1My birthday is on …

4)听教师读,完成Book P10 EX1

5)小组合作完成Book P10 Ex3

(三)Summing up

1.先让学生小结序数词的变化规律,然后课件展示并完成BookP10 EX2

2.在教师帮助下,学生小结12个月份单词中的构词法规律。

(四)Development

分组访谈同学,说出节日日期,填写表格。
