一、教材分析

本课是制鲁教版英语八年级下册Unit4 Section A (1a -2d)，学习的主题是怎样学习英语、学习英语过程中遇到的困难及解决问题的方法。本节课1a部分首先列举出一些常用的学习英语的方法，并让学生补充更多自己的学习方法，引入本单元的讨论话题。然后在1b和1c部分进行关于如何准备考试的听力训练，以及对话活动，进一步营造学习氛围，调动学生的积极性。2a和2b部分加大听力难度，但依然围绕着英语学习这一话题而展开，利用2a和2b的听力内容，完成2c部分口语交流活动，听说结合，强化了相关语言知识，提升了学生的综合语言能力；并在2d的对话教学中，注重对学生学法进行指导，加深了学生对对话的理解和运用以及在生活中的对话练习。通过学习本课，除了教会学生基础知识之外，还要帮助学生掌握学习英语的方法，为学生实际学习奠定基础！

二、学生分析

本节课的教学对象是八年级的学生，他们的英语基础相对薄弱，但同时在英语学习上普遍有着浓厚的兴趣，他们在英语的听、说、读、写方面已经有了一定基础，所以我把对他们学习的重点放在了知识的继续积累和巩固复习上，为了使学生牢固掌握以往所学知识，在教学的过程中，教师起到了指引、启发、解惑的作用，帮助学生认识接受知识，归纳整

理知识，从而提高学习效率；同时通过不同形式的课堂活动，让学生们互相交流，取长补短。

三、教学目标

（一）知识目标：

1、会拼读、能识记新单词：

textbook, conversation, video, improve，spoken, sentence ， patient

2、能够识记、运用下列短语：

work with friends,make word cards,read the textbook,listening to tapes,ask the teacher for help, study with a group,have conversations with ,that way, spoken English, a little nervous, give a report, at first,read word by word, be patient, finish doing.

3、能够运用下列句型完成学习任务。

1)How do you study for a test? --- I study by working with a group.

2) Have you ever studied with a group?--- Yes, I have. I’ve learned a lot that way.

3)The more you read, the faster you’ll be.

1、Talk about how to study.

2、Find out your suitable learning methods.

（三）情感目标：

1、鼓励学生参与活动，形成相互交流、相互促进的学习氛围，使其体验成就感，提高学习兴趣。

2、通过学生之间多层次、多方位的合作，培养他们团结协作、互助友爱的精神。

四、教学重点、难点

1、学会运用how来询问做事方式

2、学会运用by + doing的结构表达做事方式。by 介词，表示“通过……方法或途径”，译成“靠、通过”。by后面可以加名词或动名词短语。

3、动名词的用法：相当于名词，在句子中可以做主语、宾语、表语、定语等。

七、教学过程

（一）、教学目标

知识目标：

1. 学会用by短语表达学习方法。

2. 重点词汇和短语：textbook，work with friends,make word cards,read the textbook,listening to tapes,ask the teacher for help, study with a group.

3. 主要句型：How do you study for a test?

I study by working with a group.

能力目标：

1．通过小组活动，学生能与同学们交流和讨论学习方法。

2．通过本课的学习，培养学生根据自己的实际，采用适当的学习方法，提高自身英语水平。

情感目标：

1．鼓励学生参与活动，形成相互交流、相互促进的学习氛围，使其体验成就感，提高学习兴趣。

2．通过学生之间多层次、多方位的合作，培养他们团结协作、互助友爱的精神。

重点：学会用by短语表达学习方法。

(三) 教学过程

Step1 Show teaching aims

The teacher show teaching aims to the students.

Step2 Warming -up and Lead in

1.Ask students watch a video and answer the question:

What can we learn from the video about learning English?

T:According to the video,we know that

(1) A strong vocabulary foundation is needed.

(2)View English as a part of our body and practise it every day.

(3) Do not worry about making mistakes.

（4） Be confident in learning English.

【设计思路】：通过观看视频，既营造了轻松愉快的课堂气氛，又引入了如何学好英语这个话题，从而吸引学生的注意，导入本课内容，为本课学习新知识做了很好的铺垫。

2. Do activity 1a.

The teacher ask:What are your ways of learning English?

Ask students to check the ways they study English.Then encourage students to show more ways they study English.

Show some pictures about the ways I study English:

Eg: I study by studying grammar .

by watching English programs on TV.

by enjoying English songs.

by taking part in English classes after school .

by reading English magazines and newspapers .

by surfing the internet.

by having the English class carefully.

by finishing my homework seriously.

Explain something about the structures “by +doing”.

【设计思路】：多媒体呈现，便于学生能直观学习，吸引学生的注意力。这个环节如果学生能补充出更多的学习方式，学生可以开阔视野，为下面口语对话环节做好铺垫。

Step3 Listening.

1.Look at pictures.Before listening to the tape,the teacher ask a few questions.

1)What are the people’s names?

2) How do they study for a test?

The teacher give an example: She studies for a test by making word cards.What about him ? And him ?

2.Listen to the tape, students finish the work. Check the answers.

【设计思路】：培养学生良好的听力习惯。良好的听力习惯对于英语的学习非常重要，而且对于缺乏英语环境的学生来说，在课堂上应最大限度地为学生创造听、读英语的机会。

Step4 Pair work

1.Now work in pairs, Make conversations about how you study for a test.

2. Then ask a few pairs to present their dialogues.

【设计思路】：使学生之间互补，给学生提供更大的语言实践空间，激活学生头脑中已有的信息，并使这些信息和所学的内容结合，为开展合作学习和展示个人能力创造机会。学生自编对话，达到灵活运用语言的目的。表演为学生提供了一个可操作的模式，以任务型的活动方式，通过合作学习，给学生提供平等的说英语的机会，这样既创造了轻松愉快、自然和谐的课堂气氛，增强学生的自信心，又促进了交际活动的展开。

Step5 Listening.

T：A group of students are at an English club meeting and they are discussing the best ways to learn English.

What questions or ways of learning English do you think you will hear in this conversation?

Have students listen and finish 2a,2b.

Check answers together.

Step6 Pair work

1.Now have students make conversations using the information in 2a and 2b.

— Have you ever studied with a group?

— Yes, I have. I’ve learned a lot that way.

2. Then ask a few pairs to present their dialogues.

Step7 Group work

1.T:A boy has some problems in English reading. What advice does his friend give to him? Read 2d. Then finish the following tasks.

Task 1: Read the dialogue and answer the questions.

（1）What are the names of the girl and the boy in the conversation?

（2）Who has a problem? And who’s going to help?

（3) What’s the problem?

(4) What’s Jack’s problem with words? And what’s Annie’s advice?

2.Have students read and try to recite the conversations in 5-10 minutes.Then role play the conversation in groups and role play in front of the class..

3.Have students do Task 2: Fill in the blanks according to the conversation.

Jack has to finish reading a book and give a report next Monday. He’s ____________ because he is a _______________. Annie suggests that he should just read quickly to get the main ideas _______. Don’t read _____________. Read ____________. Jack can’t understand many of the words. He has to _______________. Unit 4 How can we become good learners？教学反思

在本课教学中，我创设了与学生实际生活相联系的语境，让学生理解、学习、应用语言；采用任务型教学途径，设计不同层次的任务，满足不同的需要，让学生看到成就，体验成功，激励其学习积极性。在教学过程中注重语言能力的培养，让学生在用中学，学中用，使用和学得到有机结合，在完成任务的过程中发展了他们听、说、读的技能以及交流与合作的能力。通过本课的学习，学生不仅掌握了学习语言的方法，了解了学习中遇到的困难，而且学会了相互合作、相互交流，学会倾听别人的意见，从而形成良好的个性品格，为他们的终身学习做了良好的铺垫。回顾本节课，还存在很多不足，如：对于某些指令还不是很清楚，尤其是对于知识点的总结部分，应该在平时多加练习，长此以往学生的综合能力

才能有所提高。

评课记录

张立松主任：教学目标明确，学生主动参与课堂，师生互动好，符合初中课堂要学动手又动脑的要求；教师语言流畅、简洁，选取的资料比较新，能吸引学生学习兴趣，活跃课堂气氛。建议学生练习反馈的时间可以再长一些。

方主任：这节课自然、流畅、有张有弛，学生听说训练得多，互动多；同时，留有时间让学生进行充分的展示准备，活动中让学生积极参与，让学生的综合语言运用能力有所提升。

石老师：这节课充分发挥了学生的主体性和积极性。知识的讲解深入浅出；资料的选取很好地体现了课程资源对学校资源的利用，很好地激发了学生的兴趣。建议课堂反馈的方式可以再多样化一些。

严老师：这节课很好地抓住了学生的兴趣点，结对活动、小组活动的形式极大地调动了学生的积极性。建议听说环节应该练习再充分些。
