There are two track-field playgrounds with plastic tracks and grandstands on campus. A stadium under construction on the eastern campus is to be used for hosting the Ninth National College Students Sports Meeting. Except for the playground in the western campus, there are a basketball court, a tennis court and a swimming pool, the last of which is open to the public only in summer holidays. Moreover, you can play Ping-pong or badminton in the basement of some of the teaching buildings when it rains. Apart from providing accommodation service, Orange Inn also offers KTV and space for surfing the Internet. There are altogether 7248 student dormitories in 66 buildings on both campuses, holding more than 31,500 students. Systematic ways in terms of apartment management and service have been employed. Apartments for overseas students are by the side of the teaching building of the latter in the western campus. Surrounding the university are hotels of different criteria such as Orange Inn (a three-star hotel located at the gate by South Shaoshan Road) and Hollyear Hotel (a four-star one opposite to Rail Campus of Central South University). In addition, Linhai Hotel, Qingyuan Hostel, etc. are also there to be at your convenience. 住宿

has been identified as a first-class college health-care center by Changsha Labor Bureau and Hunan Provincial Medical

Insurance Bureau. After socialization of the logistics, the hospital has been moved to a new site---the location of the former fourth canteen behind the students dormitory on the western campus and its medical facilities is worth ￥500,000. The clinic also, according to the reality of the university, has conducted a series of activities related to health and sanitation education. More than 10,000 people visit the hospital every year.
